We could always tell when we had another one because the cat would sit and stare at the stove for hours! I'll never forget DH's first encounter with one :) He's definitely a City Boy! I got a frantic call from him at work wanting to know what he should do about this "creature" in the house. He called me while standing on a chair in the kitchen, kitted out with rubber gloves and armed with a broom! I told him to get down and stop panicking - it would run *away* from him! The next day I bought traps. Guess whose job it was to tend them :\Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11973984089001877006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4559844327227210064.post-72652166275032660822011-01-24T20:56:12.948-07:002011-01-24T20:56:12.948-07:00Guess you need a cat as well!Guess you need a cat as well!Mikenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4559844327227210064.post-29032652613959334712011-01-24T06:26:25.285-07:002011-01-24T06:26:25.285-07:00I feel bad having to kill them, too. It's funny how the dog saw them, went over and sniffed around where they were, but sadly does not have the killer instinct to help out here.LindaCOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10316183776592482615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4559844327227210064.post-49999696166112320882011-01-23T20:31:13.519-07:002011-01-23T20:31:13.519-07:00I don't think man (or woman) was meant to live...I don't think man (or woman) was meant to live with mice. Who knows what creepy, crawly little mites or flea thingies might be living in their fur? Or what disease the cute, fuzzy little mousies might be bringing to your kitchen counters, stove, cupboards, etc. I say put out that trapline and don't stop until you've annihilated every last one of 'em. (Sorry little rodent creatures.)Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4559844327227210064.post-73378423396567215722011-01-23T20:11:32.457-07:002011-01-23T20:11:32.457-07:00Ugh! We had one earlier this fall and tried the live traps, but that didn't do the trick, so we had to resort to the snap traps too.Kendrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06111257142973948140noreply@blogger.com
